As you know, the building of the Atlantic Wall began in 1942. When Adolf Hitler ordered the Atlantic Wall be built because “a blockade was the best means to prevent an enemy from invading,” he was specifically citing the British blockade of Germany in World War 1.

“The Atlantic Wall” is a Nazi term for a system of defence fortifications along a fortified German coastline. It was built in stages.

We have confirmed that a World War II Bunker was found beneath the ruins of ancient Roman Fort, Azimut. The bunker, located off a tunnel to the south of the ancient Roman Forum, is believed to be over 1,000 years old, and may contain a treasure trove of ancient artifacts.
